Selected Correspondence of Faik Konica” is a collection of the correspondence of this national figure, academic and political. Letters, speeches and other material are included in this book and bring to light the role of Konica in the creation and preservation of the Albanian nation.

 

“The Albanians– Europe’s forgotten Survivors” written by the journalist and analyst of BBC, Anton Logoreci, describes Albanian and the Albanians, isolated both from the political and cultural environment during the communist regime. Logoreci describes in details an Albania dating from the Ottoman Empire up to the Chinese Influence in the communist Albania—totally isolated from the rest of the world. He analyses in details the economical and political life in Albanian as well as the results of the isolating politics of the communist regime that closed Albania to the world for half a century.

Anton Logoreci is a student of the American Technical School in Tirana and graduated from college in London majoring in Politics and Economics. He started working for BBC during WWII and died in London in 1991.

This book, was published in London in 1977.

In 1976, on the occasion of the 100-anniversary of the birthday of Faik Konitza, the New York-New Jersey branch of VATRA in collaboration with the Albanian Studies Institute of the University of Rome, held a honorary seminar. The works of this seminar were edited for publication by Edward Licho

Beethoven and the French Revolution” is the first world literary work that tries to connect Beethoven with the historical revolution that  gave the political ideology to the composer. It was this revolution that inspired Beethoven to write some of his most famous works, such as the Third Symphony, te Ninth Symphony and the Opera “Fidelio”. Noli with his own musical and historical background, gives well-documented facts  for the political nuances of the music of Beethoven. This book has become a staple of the history classes in the conservatories all over the world.

The “Album” is a collection of 40 years of works of Archbishop Fan S. Noli in America. This book includes a great deal of poem written by Noli during his stay in America. 

The “Album: was published in 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts by VATRA.

The author, Peter Ktona says that this book is not the history of VATRA, because to write about it, there would be needed several volumes. The Brochure “The Mission f the Pan Albanian federation of America VATRA yesterday and today” reflects only the struggle, suffering and hope for national independence.

For the author this brochure serves two purposes; first to bring the patriotic struggles and sacrifices of the Albanian immigrants to the attention of the new American-Albanian generation and second to let them know that VATRA was and is always present at the dire moments on our nation morally and financially.

The library of the Pan Albanian Federation VATRA is rich with works from Albanian and Foreign authors. The majority of these books is sponsored for publishing by VATRA itself and comprise a great national thesaurus. VATRA’s role has always been one of leadership and importance when it comes to spreading our national culture. Part of VATRA’s library is also this novel, one of the most famous of Martin Camaj “Circles” (Rrathe)- in Albanian.

The novel was first published in Munich, Germany in 1978.

“Albanica” is a periodical magazine in the field of albanological research and criticism. In Spring of 1991, this magazine dedicated an entire issue to the well-known Albanian author Martin Camaj.   Works published in this issue  were penned by Francisco Altimari, Mateo Mandala, Arshi PIpa, Anton Logoreci etc.

This periodical magazine which gets published in New York, is available in Albanian, English, German, Italian and French.

LDK in USA– History of a movement” published in 2000, describes in great detail accompanied by photos the enormous work of LDK’s branch in USA for the liberation and independence of Kosova.

This book shows the sensibility of the American politics for the acknowledgement of the criminal situation and behavior of the Serb regime in Kosova. The book, published in Albanian, presents with factual reality the role of LDK during the war in Kosova and its great contribution in the creation of the necessary American political environment to favor the struggle for freedom in Kosova.

The history of the Federation VATRA  described by the author Refat Xh. Gurazezi, is one that starts with the fist Albanian immigrants in the US and the beginnings of the national movement and concludes with VATRA’s role in the happenings of 1924-1925 in Albania.

Gurrazezi has been a member of VATRA for a long time, during which he has served as the editor of the newspaper DIELLI.

 

The “Kosovar Poem” (in Albanian) is a new edition, made possible by Petraq Ktona.

Among other things, this book presents the life and works of the famous Albanian author Dhimiter Pasko, a.k.a. Mitrush Kuteli.

The first edition of the “Kosovar Poem”  dates 1944

This book is the English version of the well-known Albanian poem “Herds and Pasture” of Naim Frasheri  The English translation has the invaluable penmanship of Prof. Ali Cungu

One of the reasons noted for the need of translation Frasheri’s poem is to keep alive the national pride of the ancestors in betwixt of the new generation of the Albanian immigrants.

The book was published in New York in 1981.

 

The Albanian Struggle in the Old World and New” is a study of the Federal Writers Project, sponsored by the administration of Massachusetts. Published in 1939 in cooperation with the Albanian Historical Society in Massachusetts, this book explores the early immigration of Albanians in America at the beginning of the 20th century, their integration in the new society and the enormous help they gave to the creation and conservation of the new Albanian nation.

Mr. Beqir Meta is a member of the Historical Institute at the Albanian Science Academy. Through extensive publishing in the field, he is one of the leading voices in the Albanian history.

This book, “The Pan Albanian Federation VATRA”(in Albanian), is a study prepared during the 1990-1997 and comprises a new valuable contribution in the Albanian history and describes the most active period of the federation dated from 1912 to 1920, a period paved with the enormous project of preserving and protecting te newly formed Albanian nation.
